We are pleased to inform you that, as part of our commitment to fostering experiential learning and developing critical thinking and 21st-century skills, the students of Class III will be participating in an educational field trip to the Indian Museum on Wednesday, 27th November 2024 during school hours.

 

Please note the following:

● Normal school timings will be followed.

● The boys must come to school in their school uniform.

● Student ID Card should be worn.

● They must carry the school diary, water bottle and some dry tiffin.

● Dispersal will be only against the Escort cards.

The students have received a Consent form for the field trip today. You are requested to fill up the same and submit it to the class teacher by Friday, 22nd November 2024.

Dear Parents,

Kindly note the following regarding the KG Concert to be held on Saturday,23rd November 2024.

Reporting time for students: 08:30 a.m.

All students must wear their costume and come to school.

They must carry their water bottle and tiffin (dry snacks) in a small bag.

Please apply some base makeup/foundation at home. The rest of the makeup will be done in school.

Footwear to be worn as per the instructions given by the class teachers.

Dispersal will be from the KG classrooms after the concert. Parents will collect the children against the Escort card and exit from Gate No. 1.

You constitute the most precious memories of childhood and add lustre to the lives of your grandchildren. It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to ‘Abhinandan’- Grandparents’ Day at Birla High School on Saturday 30.11.24 from 9:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Together we shall celebrate the unique position you occupy in your family and in the lives of your grandchildren.

 

On this day, we invite you to participate along with your grandson in fun-filled activities as listed below: 

 

LKG – CRAFT COMPETITION

CLASS II –  THALI DECORATION

CLASS IV – FIRELESS COOKING

 

The first 10 names per section to confirm their participation in the class WhatsApp group will be eligible to take part in the above activities. 

 

Details of the programme will be shared with you shortly.

 

Other than these, there will be some games arranged that you will be able to enjoy on the ground with your grandson.

 

We are also organising an Antakshari competition for you. Kindly fill in the Google form to mark your presence on that day and also to state whether you are willing to take part in the Antakshari Competition. Please submit it by Wednesday, 20.11.24

  1. I request Grandparents to come out in large numbers to make the day a grand success and a special one for you and your grandson. Hence, even if you are not taking part in any of the above-mentioned events, please do attend the event and enjoy the games and the yummy treat organized specially for you.

  2. Due to space constraint, we will be able to accommodate only 2 grandparents per child.

This visit is designed to extend learning beyond the classroom, providing our students with the opportunity to enhance their critical thinking and observational skills in a rich, real-world setting. The museum’s exhibits will enable students to engage directly with historical and cultural artefacts, reinforcing classroom concepts and encouraging intellectual curiosity.

This event will take place on Saturday, 28th September 2024, at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Our school Counselor and Special Educators will lead discussions on key concerns faced by modern parents, under the theme: "Parents as Shapers, Moulders, and Creators." The session will address the challenges of contemporary parenting and offer practical strategies for coping effectively.

Important Information:

  • Due to limited seating, please confirm the number of attendees.

  • Entry/Exit: Access to the venue will be from Gate No. 5 (Vidya Mandir Auditorium).

  • Arrival Time: Please be seated by 9:45 a.m. to ensure a prompt start.

  • Registration: Kindly register upon entry.
