





The students of Birla High School embarked on a transformative educational journey to Australia’s Gold Coast, where they engaged in an immersive exchange programme at Hillcrest Christian College. The exchange program not only fostered genuine cross-cultural friendship, but also led to significant personal growth, broadening the students’ global perspective on adaptability, environmental conservation, and the value of real-world learning.







Students of Class IV participated in a virtual global exchange where they shared creatively decorated kites and traditional spring couplets with partner schools. This activity helped them understand cultural similarities and celebrate the spirit of harvest festivals across countries.







Class V in collaboration with Chung Wen Elementary School, Chiayi City, Taiwan organised an International Cultural Video Conference on 6th March 2026 through the Zoom platform. The objective of the global exchange was to promote cultural awareness among young learners. Both schools showcased their how they promote sustainability for a greener tomorrow at their level. BHS students highlighted on the green Holi- they created herbal Holi which they showcased during the video conference. Taiwanese school students showcased their toys/ objects of utility in their daily lives which are made from reused paper







Theme: Van Mahotsav-one with nature
As part of the Global Exchange Action Plan, a lively video conference on Van Mahotsav connected Birla High School and Bal Bharati Public School in a celebration of trees and sustainability. The session began with a warm welcome and friendly ice-breakers, allowing students to share personal reflections on the value of trees. This meaningful exchange fostered environmental awareness and strengthened inter-school bonds through shared learning and cultural appreciation.







National Sports Day: On National Sports Day, students honoured Major Dhyan Chand’s legacy through “Play the Indian Way,” engaging in traditional games like Kho Kho, Kabaddi, and Carrom. The celebration promoted fitness, teamwork, and cultural pride, making physical activity both joyful and meaningful. The partner school shared the commonly played sports in their country. They also tried playing few of our traditional games like Kabaddi.

1. INTERNATIONAL Yoga Day: Students of Class II celebrated International Yoga Day with nature-inspired poses and Warli art, blending wellness, creativity, and cultural learning. The event promoted SDG 3 while nurturing mindfulness, friendship, and joyful connections with nature and peers. The partner school also tried out a few yogas in animal poses.
