Greetings from Birla High School!
Parents of classes III – V must visit the Junior School Office (Room No. 122) on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.

Kindly note the following details:
•    Entry: Gate No. 1 and Exit: Gate No. 6 (Prayer Hall gate, opposite Sushila Birla Girls’ School)
•    Please collect your ward’s temporary ID and Escort Card from the Junior School Office (Room no.122). 
•    Kindly paste your ward's photograph on the cards and have it stamped in the Prayer Hall on your way out from Gate No. 6.
•    Kindly submit the duly filled Transport Facility sheet which you received on 7th March, 2026 and 2 photographs with the full name of your child, class and section written in block letters on the reverse side of the photograph to our school office executive.

A class WhatsApp group will be created by your ward's class teacher for the academic session 2026-27 prior to the stationery submission day, where class-wise instructions will be shared in detail.

Please ensure that all the details provided are accurate, as they will be used to process the Identity and Escort Cards for the 2026-27 session.

You are required to submit four recent passport-size photographs of your son, wearing the school uniform, to his new class teacher on the Stationery Submission Day, which will be held on Wednesday, 25th March 2026.

Kindly ensure that his name, class, and section are clearly written on the reverse side of each photograph.

Kindly check the school website on Thursday, 19th March 2026 for details regarding stationery submission scheduled on Wednesday, 25th March 2026.

ORIENTATION FOR NEW ADMITTEES

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Birla High School.
●    The orientation for the parents of Playgroup & Nursery and for the new admittees of classes Lower KG -V (2026-27) will be held on Saturday, 7th March 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Vidya Mandir Auditorium (1, Moira Street Kolkata 700017).

Please note:
●    We expect both parents to attend the orientation.
●    Children must NOT accompany the parents for this orientation.
●    Entry will be from Gate No.6 (Prayer Hall gate opposite Sushila Birla Girls’ School).
●    Exit will be from Gate No. 5 (Vidya Mandir Auditorium Lobby gate).
●    Reporting time for registration in the Prayer Hall from 9:15 a.m. - 9:35 a.m.
●    Registration: Kindly visit the designated counter (labelled with class and section) in the Prayer Hall and register yourself. Please proceed to the auditorium after registration and be seated by 9:45 a.m.
●    To know the sections of your ward kindly check the school website on Monday, 23rd February 2026.
●    Parents of Playgroup and Nursery must collect the Transport Facility sheet & Know My Child form from the registration counter and submit the same on the day of Stationery Collection to the class teacher i.e. on Wednesday, 25th March 2026.
●     Playgroup – Class II: Either parent is expected to visit the school on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 between 9 am to 12 noon for the submission of the books and stationery.
You are required to carry 4 passport-size photographs of your ward wearing the school uniform for the Escort Card & Identity cards.
Playgroup students will submit the photograph in coloured clothes wearing the school apron.
●  Classes III to V –  Either parent is expected to visit school on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 between 9 am to 12 noon to receive the temporary Escort Card and ID card. Kindly carry 4 passport-size photographs of your ward wearing the school uniform.
•    PLAYGROUP TO V - PLEASE WRITE THE FULL NAME OF YOUR CHILD, CLASS & SECTION ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THE 4 PHOTOGRAPHS AND SUBMIT THEM TO YOUR WARD’S CLASS TEACHER ON WEDNESDAY, 25TH MARCH 2026.

Admission Against Vacancy (2026-2027)

•    Online application forms for the session 2026-27 for classes Playgroup to Class V will be available on the school website under the ‘Admissions Tab’ (2026-27) from Monday, 1st September 2025 till Tuesday, 6th January 2026.

 Filled-up forms must be submitted online and the copy of the same must be retained by the parents.

Please review the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form. The application form will be accepted only after all the details have been filled correctly.

•    UPPER KG -     1st April’ 2020 – 31st March’ 2021 (5+)
•    CLASS I –         1st April’ 2019 – 31st March’ 2020 (6+)
•    CLASS II -        1st April’ 2018 – 31st March’ 2019 (7+)
•    CLASS III -      1st April’ 2017 – 31st March’ 2018 (8+)
•    CLASS IV -      1st April’ 2016 – 31st March’ 2017 (9+)

A relaxation of up to 15 days for both the lower and upper age limits will be permitted.
