NOTICE
PROVISIONAL ADMISSION TO CLASS XI (2026-27)
Students who wish to take admission in Class XI are requested to take note of the following points:

•    Students must have the following documents with themselves at the time of applying for online admission, as these need to be uploaded with the application form:

    Soft copy of colour photograph in Jpeg / Jpg format (not more than 3 months old) ­ Size: not more than 20 KB with a dimension of 150X200.
    Scanned copy of the birth certificate from the Corporation/ Local Municipality (not more than 200 KB).
    Scanned copy of report card of Class IX Annual Examination (not more than 200 KB).
    Scanned copy of Aadhaar Card (not more than 200KB).
    Scanned copy of letter attested by the school (on the School letterhead), indicating the Mathematics level opted for, in the class X Board Examination (CBSE), in case the candidate wants to opt for Mathematics. (Applicable for Non-BHS CBSE students.)

•    All applications to be made through ADMISSION TREE. Applicant must visit https://www.admissiontree.in/#/schools/BHS.

•    Online form submission for Class XI admission will close on 13th November, 2025.  

•    Candidates with Basic Mathematics (CBSE) are not eligible for Science Stream and also cannot opt for Mathematics in Commerce and Humanities Streams. Only those students who have “Standard Mathematics” in Class X (CBSE) are eligible to opt for Mathematics as a subject in Class XI.

•    Incomplete forms and forms with false information will be treated as invalid.

•    List of selected candidates eligible for Admission Test will be put up on the school website and / or school notice board on 19th November, 2025.

•    Take a print out of the submitted Application Form and Acknowledgement Receipt as these documents will be required for submission in school. Taking a printout will not be possible once the online application process is closed. (Important: Applicants applying for two / three streams must take a print out of the form showing both / all the streams. DO NOT take print out of the screen shot, since it will be treated as incomplete).

•    Candidates have the privilege to apply in more than one stream if they want to. Only those candidates who have applied for more than one stream will be considered for admission in the second stream if they are rejected in the first stream on the basis of admission test marks. NO SUCH PRIVILEGE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE APPLIED ONLY IN ONE STREAM.
 

•    Only Annual Examination marks of Class IX and admission test marks will be considered for admission to Class XI. 60% weightage will be given to Annual Examination marks of Class IX and 40% weightage will be given to admission test marks.

•     Securing mere cut off marks in Annual Examination of Class IX is no guarantee for admission; selection will depend on admission test marks as well.

•    Provisional admission to Class XI will be confirmed only if the candidate passes in the Class X Board Examination.

•    Students will be allotted the subjects they have selected at the time of application based on their performance in school Annual examination, admission test and availability of seats.

•    There will be no interview for Birla High School students. However, if the candidate fails to clear the Class X Board Examination, admission to Class XI is liable to be cancelled.

•    The list of selected candidates - Birla High School students for Admission and Non Birla High School students for Interview, will be put up on the school website and / or school notice board.

•    Candidates and their guardians are requested to check the school website and the Notice Board for relevant information regarding admission and NOT TO APPROACH UNAUTHORISED PERSONS AS THIS MAY LEAD TO REFUSAL OF ADMISSION.

•    It is compulsory for the Non Birla High School candidates to appear for the interview along with both the parents.

•    Students have to submit the following documents along with the printed copy of the filled-in form:
o    Self-attested copy of the birth certificate from the Corporation. 
o    Self-attested copy of report card of class IX Annual Examination.
o    Photocopy of Aadhaar Card.
o    Letter attested by the school (on the School letterhead), indicating the Mathematics level opted for, in the class X Board Examination (CBSE), in case the candidate wants to opt for Mathematics. (Applicable for Non-BHS CBSE students.)
o    Undertaking (available on school website under “Admissions” tab) duly signed by parents.
•    Along with the above mentioned documents, Non Birla High School students have to bring the Original Report Card of Class IX Annual Examination and original Birth Certificate (the one issued by Corporation and not by Nursing Home) at the time of submission of fees for the purpose of verification.

•     Various types of scholarships are granted by the Management based on merit and economic status. Scholarships are also granted to students with a proven record of representing the State / Country in any co-curricular or extra-curricular activities. Granting of scholarship is at the sole discretion of the Management and the decision of the Management in this regard is final.
