Bengali Workshop
The Bengali Department of Birla High School successfully organized a Bengali Workshop on 12th May 2026 in Vidya Mandir Auditorium at 11.30am -2pm, to cultivate linguistic appreciation and strengthen literary engagement among students. All 2nd Lang Bengali students from Class 6-12 attended the program. The programme was graced by distinguished guests Prachet Gupte, a renowned Bengali writer, and Tanmoy Roychowdhury(Sabdobaji), an eminent linguist and motivator followed by poems, Rabindra Sangeet and a PPT .
NATIONAL SCHOOL INNOVATION RANKING AWARD
Mantra Patel of Class VA did the school prud by battling as one of the National winners to make it to the Grand Finale which was held on 31st January 2026, at Pune. He won the "Jury Choice Award in the Final round. He received a certificate and a cheque worth Rs. 5000.
FELICITY-MAHADEVI BIRLA WORLD ACADEMY
At Felicity hosted by Mahadevi Birla World Academy, Birla High School secured 1st place in the Treasure Hunt and proudly achieved 2nd place in the Radio Play competition. These accomplishments highlighted the students’ teamwork, creativity, and competitive spirit.
The Heritage Quiz
Calcutta Heritage Collective organized the The Heritage Quiz on 21st November, 2025 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. The day started with the Prelims with 22 teams from which 13 schools battling for their position in the Finals and after the Prelim round the top six schools went for the grand Finale. The quiz ended with a nail biting finish with La Martiniere for Boys bagging the 1st position followed by The Heritage School in the 2nd position & Birla High School (Moira Street) bagging the 3rd position.

QUAESTIO 2025
On Wednesday, 10th August 2025, Birla High School proudly hosted QUAESTO, its flagship interschool quiz competition. With 17 schools vying for the top spot, the event was a thrilling showcase of intellect. Mahadevi Birla World academy emerged as winners in a nail-biting tie breaker with the hosts coming 2nd to them!
