Exchange with Karmaneya School of Excellence, Nagpur-Class V

Students explored natural herbal eco-friendly colors for Holi and researched ways to create them using turmeric, beetroot, and spinach. They dedicated a day to making 'herbal abeer' for a green, chemical-free Holi and exchanged insights with their partner school on chemical-free practices. They also researched India’s renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, hydro, biopower, and nuclear energy, and studied their role in reducing pollution. House-wise brochures were created on India's energy initiatives and shared with the partner school, which also contributed its own energy-efficient practices.

 
 

Exchange with Chung Wen Elementary School, Taiwan- Class IV

Students explored a kaleidoscope of traditional  art form and festivals, experiencing India’s incredible culture and heritage. Through learning about these traditions, they enriched their understanding and engaged in diverse discussions, activities, and reflections with their partner school. The students of the partner school also showcased their work as well.  

Exchange with Kun Shan Elementary School, Taiwan- Class II

Birla High School students shared a video on the peacock, India's National bird, with Kun Shan Elementary School, Taiwan, who learned fascinating facts about it. In return, Birla High School students gained awareness of the animals found in Taiwan through the partner school activity.

 
 

Exchange with Kun Shan Elementary School, Taiwan-Class I

Students created a forest model using recycled materials to understand the animal kingdom and the interdependence of species. On World Tiger Day (29th July), they virtually explored the Sunderbans, learned about the Royal Bengal Tiger’s habitat, and made a conservation-themed Patachitra poster in a group activity. They also showcased local fish through a 2D river model to highlight the effects of plastic pollution on marine life. Discussions and collaborative exchanges with the partner school enhanced awareness of endangered animals and environmental conservation.

Exchange with Choithram School, Indore-Upper KG

INTERNATIONAL  PLASTIC BAG  FREE  DAY was celebrated by the  students of both schools created and decorated paper bags using recycled newspaper, employing techniques like thumb printing, ear bud printing, and bottle cap printing. These bags were distributed to school staff to raise awareness about reducing plastic usage.
 

 
 

Festive Blooms-Exchange with Bal Bharati Public School, Noida-Upper Nursery

Birla High School, Kolkata, and Baal Bharti Public School, Noida, participated in a virtual Global Exchange Programme on 26th September 2024 to promote cultural learning. Birla High School students introduced their city, recited a Bengali poem, and discussed the role of flowers in festivals, encouraging bilingual learning. Baal Bharti Public School showcased their school and highlighted the significance of Ram Navami, emphasizing cultural traditions. The event featured speeches, presentations, and a dance performance, enriching the experience. Both schools expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations, fostering mutual understanding among young learners.
