Dear Parents/Guardians,
It has been observed that in spite of a long summer vacation a number of students have reported to school with long hair, untidy uniforms or uniforms that do not comply with the school's dress code and grooming standards.
We would like to remind all parents that maintaining a neat appearance and wearing the correct school uniform are essential requirements of our school. Students are expected to attend school with a proper haircut and in the prescribed uniform at all times.
Parents are requested to ensure that their child receives an appropriate haircut by the end of this week or else the school will arrange for a barber to visit the campus next week and the student's hair will be cut accordingly. Any associated costs may be charged to the parent/guardian.
We seek your cooperation in maintaining the discipline and school standards.

CIRCULAR TO THE PARENTS
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As per the CBSE directive, Language 3 will be a part of the Class IX curriculum from the session 2026-27. In Birla High School students will be given a choice of Hindi or Bengali. They cannot opt for the same language which they have as Language2. According to the CBSE curriculum they will be taught Language 3 at class VI level. The classes for Language 3 will be during the school hours and it will be once a week. The classes will begin from 1st of July and only internal assessments will be conducted.

This is to inform you that the Online meeting for parents of Class IX which was scheduled to be held on 22nd June 2026 has been postponed.The meeting will now be held when we receive further clarity from CBSE regarding the selection of R3 Language .
Please note that the Vocational Educational classes for Class IX students will commence from July 2026.These classes will be conducted every Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. The dispersal time for all Class IX students on Fridays will be at 2:40 p.m. effective from Friday 3rd July 2026.

Subject: Temporary Unavailability of CampusCare Portal
This is to inform you that the CampusCare portal of Birla High School will remain inactive from Monday, 15th June, 2026 to Wednesday, 17th June, 2026 due to scheduled system maintenance and migration work being undertaken to enhance and streamline our ERP services.
During this period, the CampusCare application and all related online services will be temporarily unavailable. We request you to kindly plan your activities accordingly and avoid attempting to access the portal during the downtime.

CIRCULAR FOR PARENTS OF CLASSES VII, VIII AND IX

Dear Parents,
With reference to the CBSE Circular No: Acad-33/2026, we hereby would like to inform the parents of classes VII – IX about certain changes pertaining to Language 3, which we are compelled to make to align CBSE’s Scheme of Studies with the NCERT syllabus.
Parents are requested to kindly take note of the following changes that will be effective from the current academic session:
Discontinuation of French and German as 3rd Language for Classes VII & VIII
Please be informed that, effective from the current academic session, French and German will no longer be offered as third language options for Class VII and VIII, in line with the revised curriculum structure. The third language will henceforth be limited to Hindi, Bengali and Sanskrit.
Bridge classes will be conducted to support students through this transition and the schedule details will be shared in due course of time.
Parents of classes VII & VIII students, who are currently enrolled in French or German as their third language, are requested to fill up a Google Form regarding their preferred language combination. Please submit your responses by 24th May 2026.The link of the form will be shared by the respective class teachers.
Introduction of Language 3 in Class IX
For Class IX students, the study of three languages (R1, R2, R3) shall be compulsory, with at least two languages being native Indian languages. Students will be offered Hindi or Bengali as R3 ( Language 3) in class IX, effective from the current academic session, and it will be taught at class VI level. Further details about the same and other relevant information for class IX students only will be disseminated at an online Orientation session on the 22nd of June, 2026, at 9:00a.m. The link for the same will be shared by the respective Class Teachers.
