Greetings from Birla High School.
● The Orientation for the parents of Classes Lower KG and Upper KG for the session 2026-27 will be held on Thursday, 30th April 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the Vidya Mandir Auditorium (1, Moira Street Kolkata 700017).

Please note:

● We expect both parents to attend the orientation.
● Entry will be from Gate no. 6 (Prayer Hall gate) and Exit will be from Gate No. 5 (Vidya Mandir Auditorium Lobby gate).   
● Reporting time for registration in the auditorium lobby: 9:00 a.m. 
● Registration: Kindly visit the designated counter (labelled with class and section) in the Prayer Hall and register yourself. 
● Please proceed to the auditorium after registration and be seated by 9:15 a.m.

IDENTITY & ESCORT CARD EXCHANGE - SESSION 2026-27
CLASS I
 

Dear Parents,

We would like to inform you that your ward’s Identity Card and Escort Card for the session 2026-27 will be handed over to you on Saturday, 25th April 2026 after the orientation programme is over.
Kindly note the following details regarding the same:
•Entry - Gate No. 6 (Prayer Hall Gate) for the orientation registration.
•After the orientation is over the ID card and Escort card exchange will take place from your ward’s class.
•It is mandatory to submit your ward’s old Identity Card and Escort Card (session 2025-26) to the class teacher at the time of exchange.
•In the case of new admissions for the session 2026–27, Escort and Identity Cards will be issued at a later date. The schedule for distribution will be communicated in due course. Until then, students are required to use the temporary white Escort and Identity Cards.
•Kindly carry a pen to sign the acknowledgement sheet.
•No Identity Card or Escort Card will be handed over to carpool vendors or any other relative.

Dear Parents,
The School Management is pleased to introduce a Sibling Fee Concession Policy to provide financial support to families with more than one child studying in the institution. This initiative reflects the school’s understanding of the financial responsibilities borne by families and its intent to provide meaningful relief wherever possible.
A concession of 15% on total fees will be granted, subject to the following conditions:
•    The concession is subject to an application from the parents.
•    The concession will be applicable to children studying in Birla High School, Moira Street and Sushila Birla Girls’ School. 
•    Regarding the concession for Birla High School (Mukundapur) conditions enumerated in their policy will be valid.
•    The concession will only be given to the younger of the two siblings.
•    In case of twins studying in the school, the younger child will be eligible for concession.
•    In case of three or more children studying in the school, only the second child will be eligible for concession. No additional concession will be provided to other siblings, if any.
•    The concession will remain applicable as long as the older child continues to be enrolled in the school. Once the older child passes out from the school the concession will stop.
•    The 15% concession will apply only to total fees and not to any other charges (admission fees, late fees, re-admission fees, diary & Id Card fees)
•    The concession is applicable for one academic year (at a time) and will be renewed annually by the school management, upon receipt of a fresh application by the concerned parent.
•    The school reserves the right to withdraw or modify the concession at any time in case of non-compliance with school rules or policies.
•    The concession is subject to timely payment of fees.
Parents who wish to avail of this concession are requested to download the attached application form and submit it to the School Office by Saturday, 25th April, 2026 12 noon.
The School Management reserves the right to review, modify or withdraw the concession policy as deemed necessary.

ORIENTATION CIRCULAR FOR PARENTS OF CLASS IX

All parents of the students of Class IX (Session 2026-2027) are cordially invited to an Orientation Session, which will be held at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium on Friday, 24th April, 2026 at 11:30 am.

●    All students must come in their school uniform and report to school at 7:30 a.m.
●    All students will attend regular classes and will resume their schedule after the orientation concludes. They will not be permitted to leave with their parents.
●    Parents are requested to register and be seated by 11:00 a.m.
●    The programme is likely to end by 01:00 p.m.
●    Kindly enter through the main gate of the Vidya Mandir Auditorium.

CIRCULAR – CLASS X (2026) 2nd BOARD EXAMINATION

As per the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE has introduced the Two Board Examination Policy. Under this policy, Class X students are provided an opportunity to improve their performance in a maximum of three subjects by appearing for the Second Board Examination.
Students who wish to reappear for the Second Board Examination must confirm their names and the subjects by 17th April 2026, via email to the Principal and the respective Coordinator Ms. S Sen (Email - [email protected])
Students who have already confirmed their names but now wish to withdraw must also intimate the same via email to the Principal and the respective Coordinator by 17th April 2026.
Fee Details for the Second Board Examination:
•    The fee will be collected on 17th April 2026 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the School Office (Room No. 111). 
•    Payment must be made through cheque drawn in favour of Birla High School. 
Fee Structure (including handling charges):
•    For 1 paper: ₹350/- 
•    For 2 papers: ₹700/- 
•    For 3 papers: ₹1050/-
