Greetings from Birla High School.

We are pleased to invite parents and grandparents of Classes Upper KG, I & II for an interactive session on Saturday, 22nd  August 2026, at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium.
Ms. Nimisha Goenka, a renowned Counselling Psychologist, will lead an insightful discussion on “Together We Nurture.” The session will explore the challenges of contemporary parenting and offer practical strategies to help parents nurture children with confidence, empathy, and understanding. It will also acknowledge the important role of grandparents in providing love, wisdom, and support in today’s changing family dynamics.
Kindly note the following details:

  • Registration time: 10:00 a.m.
  • Kindly register upon entry and be seated in the auditorium by 10:15 a.m.
  • The session will begin at 10:30 am
  • Entry & Exit: Access to the venue will be from Gate No. 5 (Vidya Mandir Auditorium Gate).

Flag hoisting will be followed by the class XII Felicitation Programme in the Vidya Mandir Auditorium.

Dear Parents,
This is a gentle reminder that we will be conducting our Term 1 Summative Assessments for Classes III, IV and V.
These assessments are important milestones in your child’s academic journey and we understand the significant role you play in helping them prepare and succeed in the same. I request parents to motivate their wards to appear for the tests with full sincerity and honesty. Let us work together towards helping our children imbibe values of morality, discipline and integrity. 
Pupils must carry the following on the assessment dates: a clip board to write on, suitable stationery items (including colour pencils), school diary, drinking water and some dry tiffin.

Dispersal time from 17.08.26 to 26.08.26 will be as follows:

DISPERSAL

CLASSES III, IV & V

Carpool Dispersal

10:15 a.m.

Escort Dispersal

10:20 a.m.

Kindly note Carpool dispersal will be from Gate No. 6 and Escort dispersal from Gate No. 1 strictly against their Escort Cards.

In alignment with the NEP 2020 guidelines, Birla High School has introduced the Holistic Progress Card from the session 2024-2025. This progress card offers a 360-degree, multidimensional view of each learner’s cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. The inclusion of parent and student feedback will enhance collaboration and communication, providing a more comprehensive understanding of the student’s progress and fostering active parental engagement in their child’s education.
I request parents to note the steps mentioned below to fill up the parent and student feedback through Campus Care:
Parent’s Feedback (For Classes LKG-II)
Please follow the steps given below to fill up the “Parents’ feedback”:

  • Log in to the Campus Care portal using the parent’s ID.
  • Click on “Parents’ Feedback”
  • Select the child who is in LKG to II.
  • Select Term I.
  • Select the appropriate remark against the given parameter.
  • Click on “Save’ after completing.

Please help your ward to follow the steps given below to fill up the “Student’s Feedback” (Classes I and II only):

  • * Log in to the Campus Care portal using the Student’s ID.
  • * Click on “Self-Assessment”
  • * Select Term I.
  • * Select the appropriate remark against the given parameter.
  • * Click on “Save’ after completing.

PLEASE NOTE: Campus Care will accept the feedback from Tuesday, 11th August 2026, 18:00 hours onwards to Saturday, 15th August, 2026 till 23:59 hours. However, you are requested to fill in the same by Thursday, 13th August 2026, 14:00 hours so that any possible glitches faced by you can be addressed by the IT department within the stipulated time.

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), we request you to kindly participate in India's 1st Digital Census by completing the Self-Enumeration process on or before 15th August, 2026.

The Self-Enumeration facility is available from 1st August to 15th August, 2026. Upon successful completion of the process, a Self-Enumeration (SE) ID will be generated. This ID should be carefully preserved and shared with the Census Enumerator during the household visit.

Details of the Self-Enumeration Process:

• Period: 1st August, 2026 to 15th August, 2026
• Portal: https://se.census.gov.in
• Helpline: 1855
• Log in to the portal using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and complete the online Self-Enumeration process.
• On successful submission, an SE ID will be generated. Please retain this ID and provide it to the Census Enumerator during the household survey.

We request all parents to extend their wholehearted support to this important national initiative by completing the Self-Enumeration within the stipulated timeline.

Your cooperation will contribute significantly to the successful implementation of India's first Digital Census.

CLASSES UKG TO V

Dear Parents,
LogIQids is an educational platform designed to enhance logical reasoning and problem-solving skills in children. The platform offers a range of learning materials and activities, including puzzles, games, and assessments, tailored to various age groups. The program aims to develop critical thinking, creativity, and analytical abilities, providing a strong foundation for future academic and personal growth. It is commonly used in schools and at home to supplement traditional education and encourage a love for learning.
Birla High School has engaged with Logiqids to bring out the best in their students and equip them with strong analytical skills and differential thinking which will form the basis of their learning.
The First Stage exam will be on Tuesday, 6th October,2026. The Login credentials and the details of the programme will be sent shortly.
