







Birla High School’s Summer Fiesta for Lower Kindergarten was a joyful celebration of the season through culinary and creative activities. Children prepared colourful fruit salads with hydrating summer fruits, promoting healthy eating and sensory exploration, and crafted vibrant watermelon-themed art using paper chipping, cotton dabbing, and bindi pasting. The event nurtured fine motor skills, creativity, teamwork, and appreciation for the simple pleasures of summer, leaving the little ones with bright smiles and lasting memories.







Class III-A presented a special assembly on the theme “Small Jobs, Big Impact” to honour community helpers and highlight the dignity of labour. Through thoughtful speeches, role-plays, placards, and the heartfelt song “Shukriya,” students expressed gratitude to providers, protectors, and caretakers. The programme concluded with the reminder that every worker’s contribution matters, instilling empathy and respect in young minds.




With culture and smiles, the students celebrated Rabindrajayanti in the Prayer Hall of the school through a recitation and singing of the Rabindrasangeet. The programme ended with Dean Academics highlighting the contribution of The Bard of Bengal in the field of arts and literature.








Class III–B presented a heartfelt Rabindra Jayanti assembly on 8 May 2026, celebrating the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore through poems, speeches, songs, and dance. Highlights included recitations of “Where the Mind is Without Fear,” a choir of Rabindrasangeet, and a dramatic enactment of Tagore’s protest against the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. The programme beautifully conveyed his ideals of peace, creativity, patriotism, and humanity, leaving the audience deeply inspired



The school proudly conferred badges upon the prefects from the eighth standard, recognising their leadership qualities and sense of responsibility. The ceremony marked the beginning of their journey as role models who would lead their peers with integrity, confidence, and dedication.







On 22nd April 2026, Class II B presented a vibrant Earth Day assembly themed “Our Power, Our Planet,” highlighting the importance of environmental care. The programme featured a creative skit with characters like Earth, Sun, Tree, River, and the Plastic Monster, along with songs and dances that emphasized reducing plastic, saving water, and planting trees. Students also spoke on water conservation under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan, leaving the audience inspired to protect the planet responsibly.
