On Environment Day, the young learners of Class Lower Kindergarten were engaged in a series of enriching activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness. The day's event began with a viewing of an enlightening documentary on Environment Day, which was followed by a fun and interactive quiz to reinforce their learning. Subsequently, the students participated in various hands-on activities where they were engaged in making the lifeline of the Environment 'trees' using play dough and palm printing techniques as well as the young Kindergarteners were taught to reuse old boxes and newspapers by creatively wrapping them as gift boxes. The celebration concluded with the students taking an oath to commit to saving the environment. The Environment Day activities significantly enhanced students' environmental awareness, providing them with a foundational understanding of the importance of the day and the necessity of protecting our planet. They developed practical skills in creatively using everyday materials, such as old boxes and newspapers, which promoted habits of recycling and waste reduction. Additionally, the oath-taking ceremony instilled a sense of environmental responsibility in the students, encouraging them to adopt and maintain environmentally friendly practices from an early age.
