Event Date:24 July 2025
On 24th July 2025, Class VC of Birla High School presented a lively and meaningful special assembly titled “Back Straight, Brain Great!” during the morning gathering.
Through a delightful blend of skits, chants, dance, rhymes, and an original theme song, the students creatively highlighted the importance of maintaining good posture and managing screen time wisely. The performance was filled with humour, cheer, and a strong educational message. The students playfully showed the effects of slouching and excessive screen use while sharing simple tips on how to sit, stand, read, and use gadgets in a healthy way.
The catchy rhymes and energetic delivery kept the audience fully engaged. The programme ended with all 40 participants striking superhero poses and taking a lively pledge to practise good habits every day.
Beyond the message on spinal health and screen balance, the event also helped students develop confidence, teamwork, self-discipline, and public speaking skills. Their clarity and enthusiasm were truly impressive.
“The creativity and clarity with which Class VC delivered such an essential message was truly commendable. They reminded us that health and learning go hand in hand.”
– Headmistress, Birla High School
One of the students shared, “We had so much fun practising the skit and dance! I now make sure my back is straight when using my tablet—and I taught my younger sister too!”
The assembly was a resounding success, leaving the audience inspired to sit tall, stay active, and strike a healthy balance between screens and well-being.
