A special assembly on Guru Nanak Jayanti was conducted by the students of Class V-A on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, in the Prayer Hall. The assembly celebrated the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, and aimed to spread his message of unity, equality, and selfless service.
The assembly began with the serene chanting of Ek Onkar, creating a spiritual atmosphere. This was followed by a series of narrations and enactments that highlighted the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Through verses, dramatized incidents, and placards, the students conveyed the core principles of Sikhism — Naam Japo (remember God), Kirat Karo (earn an honest living), Vand Chakko (share with others), and Sewa and Simran (serve and meditate).
A short dramatization beautifully depicted Guru Nanak’s emphasis on honesty, humility, and compassion, while the concluding Shabad sung collectively by the class filled the hall with devotion and peace. The placards displayed key messages and values, reinforcing the importance of truth, equality, and good deeds.
