Event Date:15 July 2025
Green Day was celebrated with the theme "Little Hands, Green Dreams!" to instill in young minds of Nursery the importance of greenery and care for the environment. The school corridor was beautifully decorated with various green objects and plants,
creating a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere for the children to celebrate and enjoy Green Day.
As part of the colour recognition activity, boys were shown green-coloured objects, sparking curiosity and lively conversations among the little ones. The children were also encouraged to identify and name other green things around them such as
leaves, grass, frogs, and various green vegetables. This helped reinforce their understanding of the colour green while building vocabulary.
In line with the activity aimed to nurture respect and care for nature from an early
age, the session concluded with a visit to the Green Corner, where children spent
time exploring and interacting with eco-friendly displays, reinforcing the day's
learning in a hands-on and engaging manner.
