Jun, 20251. The process starts as and when there are vacancies in Class I.
2. A notice is uploaded on the school website notifying the date for the availability of the online application form done through Admission Tree. Application form is available online on Admission Tree along with the guidelines for filling up the form and details of the required documents.
3. List of shortlisted candidates for the interaction is prepared based on the form and the details submitted to the school by the Admission Tree.
4. Names of the selected candidates, date & time for written test and interaction is put up on the school notice board and website.
5. Final list of selected candidates is put up for admission and fee payment.

Please find below the 1st list of SELECTED CANDIDATES AND DETAILS OF THE CLASS I INTERACTION.
• Candidates for Class I are first required to appear for an interaction in English, Mathematics, Vernacular (Hindi/Bengali) on Saturday, 31st August 2024.
• Reporting time: 11:15 AM
• Any one parent should accompany the candidate.
• Stationery items like pencil, eraser and colour pencils to be carried by the candidate.
• Duration of the interaction with the child will be approximately for 1 hour 30 minutes.
• Please check the school website on Tuesday, 3rd September 2024 for the list of candidates selected for an interaction that will be scheduled on Friday, 6th September 2024.

Please note the following with regard to the interaction with the parents of Class I candidates:
• Interaction with the parents of Class I candidates will be on Friday, 6th September 2024.
• It is necessary for both parents to be present for the interaction accompanied by the candidate.
• Kindly adhere to the given time slots.
Documents to be carried on the day of the interview (Mandatory)
1. Original Birth Certificate of the candidate issued by local authority (Municipal Corporation).
2. A copy of the proof of residence (Voter’s Card/ Aadhar Card/ Passport)
3. Last qualification certificate/mark sheets of both parents.
4. Copy of last year’s Report Card of the child.

Please note the following with regard to the fee payment from Tuesday, 10th September 2024 till Thursday, 12th September 2024.
• The shortlisted candidates will receive an E-mail/SMS stating all details of ONLINE PAYMENT.
• The fee payment link will be active on Tuesday, 10th September 2024 from 2:00 PM till Thursday, 12th September 2024.
• Kindly log into www.vmscampuscare.in with the log in credentials provided in the SMS to make the online payment.
• You are required to take a print out of the fee payment receipt and retain the same.
Parents are required to submit the following documents in school on Friday, 13th September 2024 between 9:00 am.to 1:00 pm.
(Kindly carry the original documents for verification).
● A copy of the Admission form duly signed by both parents. (No screenshot will be accepted)
● Copy of Blood Group report of the child.
● Copy of Birth Certificate of the child.
● Copy of the Aadhar Card of both parents.
● Residence Proof (Aadhar Card/Voters ID, photocopy of passport, Electricity Bill in the name of either of the parents).
● Social category proof in case of ST/SC/OBC.
● A copy of the child’s Immunization card.
● The Undertaking downloaded, filled and signed.
● The Medical Undertaking downloaded, filled and signed.
IMP: Copy of the Report Card for the session 2024-25 and the Transfer Certificate from the present school should be submitted by Monday, 31st March, 2025.
In case any document is not submitted on that day, an application addressed to the Headmistress should be provided stating the reason.
An orientation will be held for the parents of all new admittees on Saturday, 1st March 2025.
Please check the school website on Tuesday, 18th February 2025 for further details.
IMPORTANT: Failing to comply with the above within the specified date and time, the admission of the ward will stand cancelled.
Parents of Candidates, who are selected to pay the admission fees of their wards, be informed about the refund policy of fees in case of withdrawal from our school
• Withdrawal before 31st March 2025 - Students applying for refund of fees on or before 31st March 2025 for the next session are to be refunded full fees paid except the Admission Fee of Rs. 95000.
• Withdrawal from 1st April 2025 onwards - Students applying for refund of fees on or after 1st April 2025 for the next session, Prorata fees except Admission fee is to be refunded.

PLAYGROUP - V (2025-2026)
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Birla High School.
● The orientation for the parents of Playgroup & Nursery and for the new admittees of classes LKG-V (2025-26) will be held on Saturday, 1st March 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in the Vidya Mandir Auditorium (1, Moira Street Kolkata 700017).
Please note:
● We expect both parents to attend the orientation.
● Children must not accompany the parents for this orientation.
● Entry will be from Gate No.6 (Prayer Hall gate opposite Sushila Birla Girls’ School).
● Exit will be from Gate No. 5 (Vidya Mandir Auditorium Lobby gate).
● Reporting time for registration in the Prayer Hall from 9:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.
● Registration: Kindly visit the designated counter (labelled with class and section) in the Prayer Hall and register yourself. Please proceed to the auditorium after registration and be seated by 10:20 a.m.
● To know the sections of your ward kindly check the school website on Thursday, 27th February 2025.
● Parents of Playgroup and Nursery must collect the Know My Child form from the registration counter and submit the same on the day of Stationery Collection to the class teacher i.e. on Thursday, 27th March 2025.
● Playgroup – Class II: Either parent is expected to visit the school on Thursday, 27th March 2025 between 9 am to 12 noon for the submission of the books and stationery.
You are required to carry 2 passport-size photographs of your ward wearing the school uniform for the temporary Escort Card.
Playgroup students will submit the photograph in coloured clothes wearing the school apron.

New Admittees
Dear Parents,
Greetings from Birla High School!
We are pleased to inform you that the stationery submission for new admittees in classes Playgroup to II will take place at the school on Thursday, 27th March 2025. Kindly note the following details:
• Entry: Gate No. 1 and Exit: Gate No. 6 (Prayer Hall gate, opposite Sushila Birla Girls’ School)
• Timings: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
• Either parent is required to visit the school that day for the submission of books and stationery.
For Playgroup to Class II:
• Please bring 2 passport-size photographs of your ward in school uniform for the issuance of the temporary Escort Card and ID card.
• The temporary ID and Escort cards will be stamped in the Prayer Hall before you exit from Gate no.6.
• For Playgroup students, the photograph should be in colored clothes with the school apron.
• Playgroup and Nursery: Parents must submit the Know My Child form, Transport Facility sheet, and the ID proforma (duly filled) to the class teacher.
• Classes Lower KG to II: Parents must submit the Transport Facility sheet and the ID proforma (duly filled) to the class teacher.
For Classes III to V:
• Please bring 2 passport-size photographs of your ward in school uniform.
• Classes III-V: Parents must visit Room No. 122 (Junior School Office) to collect their ward’s temporary ID and Escort Card. Please paste your ward's photograph on the cards and have it stamped in the Prayer Hall on your way out.
• Kindly, submit the duly filled Transport Facility sheet and ID proforma to the office staff.
A class WhatsApp group will be created by your ward's class teacher prior to the stationery submission day, where class-wise instructions will be shared.
