On Thursday, 3rd July 2025, Class III D presented a heartwarming special assembly on the theme “Gratitude is the Key to Happiness.” Through a vibrant skit, lively dance, and a melodious group song, the students beautifully conveyed how thankfulness nurtures joy, stronger bonds, and a brighter spirit.
The Inter-House Quiz Competition 2025, organized by Shivaji House, was successfully conducted on 2nd July 2025 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and was a display of knowledge, presence of mind, and collaborative spirit. The quiz was witnessed by the Headmistress, along with teachers and students of Classes 3, 4, and 5, who appreciated the depth and creativity of the rounds.
Shivaji House emerged as winner with a tie breaker and Gandhi House was placed 2nd. Netaji House ended in the 3rd position.
Class III C enthusiastically celebrated Rabindra Jayanti with a special assembly, beginning with a soulful prayer song. Students showcased their cultural appreciation through dance, Bengali poem recitation, and by sharing interesting facts about Rabindranath Tagore's life and literary works. The assembly highlighted his significant contributions, including composing the national anthems for both India and Bangladesh, providing a deeper appreciation for his lasting impact.
On May Day, 26 students of Class 1A presented a special assembly titled "Superheroes Around Us!" to honor community workers. Students role-played various professions, striking superhero poses and explaining the significance of each. The assembly also featured a heartfelt poem of gratitude and an energetic dance performance, concluding with thanks to all involved and reinforcing the dignity of labor.
On April 24th, the Investiture Ceremony for the Middle School took place in the School Prayer Hall. Twelve boys from Class VIII were bestowed with the prestigious badges of Prefects for the academic year 2025-2026.

On April 11th, the boys of Class V B of Birla High School held a special assembly to celebrate Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti and Poila Baisakh, the Bengali New Year. The assembly honored Dr. Ambedkar's life and ideals of equality and justice, followed by a vibrant showcase of Poila Baisakh traditions and how New Year is celebrated across various Indian regions. It concluded with a unifying message for students to embrace Dr. Ambedkar's legacy and the spirit of renewal from Poila Baisakh.
