Birla High School students and teachers are celebration of International Day of Yoga 2026, at Red Road, Kolkata, on the auspicious day June 21,2026.
World Book Day
On World Book Day (16 April 2026), Lower KG boys celebrated by bringing their favourite picture books, exploring illustrations, sharing stories, and enjoying a lively storytelling session that built observation, language, and listening skills. Upper KG students joined in with the activity “A Book a Day, A New Story to Say!”, sharing favourite characters, making creative bookmarks, and participating in the school-wide DEAR Programme. The celebrations nurtured imagination, confidence, and a lifelong love for reading among the young learners.
Jalpakhwada Celebration
Birla High School celebrated Jal Pakhwada with engaging activities across classes, sensitizing students about water conservation and rainwater harvesting. Nursery children joyfully watered plants with themed headpieces, while upper primary students learned through videos, pledges, and practical demonstrations on saving water. Class V explored sustainability through discussions and presentations, reinforcing the message that every drop of water is precious and vital for the planet’s future.
World Art Day
On 16 April 2026, Birla High School’s Lower and Upper Kindergarten students celebrated World Art Day with creativity and joy. LKG toddlers transformed letters, numbers, and strokes into imaginative pictures, building fine motor skills and pre-writing readiness, while UKG children explored shapes, colors, and cultural art forms through engaging activities and discussions. The celebrations nurtured imagination, confidence, and appreciation for art, making the day both fun and educational.

Annual Concert-Harry Potter and the Quest for Peace
The Annual Concert-Harry Potter and the Peace for Quest brought alive the characters in a magical tale of adventure where Harry, Hermoine and Ron once again join hands to bring peace by casting a magical spell. It was indeed a brilliant show where each character dazzled with fine performances.
