Old Toy collection drive
Event Date:28 July 2026
The Social Service Club Prayaas of Birla High School organised an Old Toy Collection Drive from 28th July to 4th August 2026 for students of Playgroup to Class V.
The drive witnessed a heartwarming response from our children and their families. Little hands came forward eagerly with toys that once brought them joy, now ready to bring smiles to others. From teddy bears to board games, puzzles to cars, every toy carried with it a message of love, care, and generosity. Parents too supported this noble cause by ensuring that each toy was clean, safe, and in good condition, thus reinforcing the values of responsibility and compassion at home.
The toys were handed over to HUM Foundation, SHOISHOB and Hath Baralei Bondhu NGO for distribution. Through this effort, children learned that giving brings joy and that even small acts of sharing can make a big difference.
The Old Toy Drive was more than a collection; it was a celebration of empathy, a lesson in social responsibility, and a step towards nurturing global citizens who care deeply for their community. With initiatives like these, Prayaas continues to live up to its name – a sincere effort to spread joy, kindness, and hope.
